I'm a Monster, How About You?

You Are a Chimera

You are very outgoing and well connected to many people.
Incredibly devoted to your family and friends, you find purpose in nurturing others.
You are rarely alone, and you do best in the company of others.
You are incredibly expressive, and people are sometimes overwhelmed by your strong emotions.

I didn't know what this creature was, so here's a description: In Greek mythology, the Chimera is a monster, depicted as an animal with the head of a lion, the body of a she-goat, and the tail of a dragon (sometimes it has multiple heads). This is also a real term for a genetically strange creature, formed by more than two parents (I don't quite get it).

But the description is pretty accurate, I have to say. Thanks to Max for this one.

It says that I'm a centaur.

Not sure about that...let me go back and look at the description again!

Ok..it's described as this:

In general, you are a very cautious and reserved person.
However, you are also warm hearted, and you enjoy helping others in practical ways.
You are a great teacher, and you are really good at helping people get their lives in order.
You are very intuitive, and you go with your gut. You make good decisions easily.

The decision thing doesn't sound like me...

Geez, I'm a *mermaid*, just like pj. I was sure I'd be something much more macho.

I'm a chimera as well, which sounds pretty good to me. But does this mean we have to wear bad 80s hair and a tiara?

Ed, I'm a very macho mermaid. None of that Hans Christian Andersen weepy stuff for me.

And LJ, you certainly do find purpose in nurturing others.

I guess I'm a centaur. But I found it difficult to make the choices.

Eileen, reserved? Hmmm ... but helping others in practical ways, no doubt. Just think of all the people you've helped recently with your yummy pictures.

Erin, welcome. I think there's a whole sub-category of "recently separated she-bloggers." We need each other.

Diane, thanks! Some people would just say "loud."

Ed, I'm sure you make a mahvelous mermaid, darling. You and PJ can kick some deep-sea ass, no doubt.

Tribal, I prefer the lion's head description, myself. I shaved my head in the 80s to avoid the big hair.

Thanks, all!
