Yup, still a Calvinist.

Got this from Kirstin, who didn't expect to be a Calvinist. I, on the other hand, would have been surprised to be anything else.

In order of highest percentage: Orthodox, Catholic, Calvinist, and Lutheran! Now you know I am a true Anglican. LOL

How appropriate approaching Reformation Sunday. Am not surprised.

Miss you and hope all goes well.

Jane, funny. Notice I have little Catholic in me. Good Calvinist, that.

Laura -- Reformation sunday! Geez, I'm so out of the church loop, that didn't even occur to me. Good catch. Plus, loving your Peppermint Pattie recipes.

Other readers -- go to my very pregnant friend's blog (linked above in Laura C comment) and check out some high-sugar fun!

I'm Zwingli, Calvin, Unitarian, Orthodox, Catholic. And I'm 0% Luther!

Kind of surprised that I'm more Calvin than Unitarian, but that was probably because the "let's just exchange flowers" options offended me. :)

Diane, no doubt you'll, be Luther!

PJ, that is hilarious. I think you need to get Calvinist (or Zwinglian?) into your religious title now. Jufiscapalvinist? Jufiscipalizwing?

Oh, and hi Kirstin. I knew there was a reason I liked you. You're really a Calvinist under all that Anglican formality. You know, it's your former paganism showing up. (Calvin would roll over in his grave hearing me say that, but I think it's true).

I agree PJ...the flowers thing offended me too.

I ended up Orthodox, but Orthodox and Zwingli were tied. LOL

no surprise, I'm Luther, with a little Orthodox and Calvin thrown in, but I don't know how to get it over to my blog!

I was shocked, as Kirstin was, to see that I was Calvinist like you. I've spent most of my recent adult life refuting that label! Oh well.

I wanted to be Calvin. I thought I'd be Calvin. But I'm Orthodox. Calvin came in second.

I guess I can live with that. But I really wanted to be Calvin.

Eileen -- orthodox, zwingli tie? You sound confused. Or maybe I should say -- diverse!

Diane -- what else would you be? Of course!

Lauralew -- you can't run away from your true self. Just go with it, girl. (He's not that bad, really, really, he's not. Wrote some lovely, lovely stuff on spirituality and gratitude).

Mags -- you, of all people I expected to be Calvin. Will you have to change your self-description now? I hope not. I love the term "Calvinista."

Jane R said...

Oh Mags, I knew you'd be Orthodox or some such sacramental tradition -- "Once a Catholic..." I do love your Calvinista persona though.

lj--"You can't run away from your true self". How true is that! I'm doing some work on being my authentic self; I surprise myself routinely. Thanks.

Hi, lj. Here's something with you in mind.

Jeez, this is an old thread. LJ, you expected to be a Calvinist, in NC? The shock!

I remember coming in unsurprisingly Orthodox, Catholic, then Calvin dead last, but I may still be reacting to my training as a Neo-Barthian.
