Quote of the day

The great hockey player Wayne Gretsky said, "I skate to where the puck is going to be not to where it has been."

With thanks to Roy.

Hi, what a wonderful blog, full of your wonderful thoughts on the mysterious and your mysterious thoughts... (that is a compliment by the way!)

I had a blog in my political life but found it a terrifyng experience. But perhaps I was trying to be with the pack and not ahead of it.... I stopped but you have inspired me to start again.

Thanks and stay in touch

Ewan

Off the Gretzky topic: You inspired me to download a few Speaking of Faith podcasts. Last Monday I went out walking and listened to Krista interviewing three different people about the various forms prayer can take. It ended with a little girl reading Mary Oliver's "wild and precious" poem. I did a little dance of joy right on the sidewalk!

So now you have to update your wild and precious blog. (Or else no sandwiches!)

I haven't listened to that one! Now I'll have to. Yeah, I realize I'm behind here. I guess I have my own case of writer's block.
